The Role – MEICA Project Engineer
As a MEICA Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects, working across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems. You will be involved from design coordination through to site installation, commissioning, and handover.
This is a varied role offering a mix of office and site based work, giving you exposure to full project lifecycle delivery. You will work closely with Contracts Managers, design teams, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.

Salary: €60,000 – €75,000 (DOE) Package

The Role – MEICA Project Engineer
As a MEICA Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects, working across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems. You will be involved from design coordination through to site installation, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of water and wastewater treatment and pumping projects with a focus on MEICA systems
- Coordinate Health and Safety requirements in line with HSQE standards
- Support the design team in developing practical and innovative engineering solutions
- Procure equipment and materials required for project execution
- Develop and manage project programmes from design through to commissioning and handover
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout project delivery
- Manage site labour and subcontractors to ensure efficient execution of works
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
- Prepare engineering reports, method statements, and commissioning documentation
- Manage O&M and Health and Safety documentation and enforce safe working practices on site
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or a related engineering discipline
- Experience in a project engineering role within M&E, MEICA, or utilities environments
- Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes or pumping systems is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office and project planning software
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate multiple project activities
- Motivated with a strong interest in developing within the water and wastewater sector
- Full driving licence
Salary: €60,000 – €75,000 (DOE) Package
