The Project: €Multi-Million Water Infrastructure Projects
The Package: €65,000 – €70,000 + Vehicle + Fuel + Matched Pension

Overview:
A leading Irish civil engineering contractor is looking for a Project Engineer to support the delivery of multiple of high value water infrastructure projects throughout the Greater Dublin Area.
You'll be involved in upgrading and expanding essential water and wastewater networks, delivering works such as new pipeline installations, network rehabilitation, pumping infrastructure, drainage improvements and other critical utility projects.
Joining a contractor with over four decades of experience in the utilities and infrastructure sector, you'll become part of a company known for delivering technically demanding projects while maintaining exceptionally high standards of safety and quality.
This position offers genuine responsibility from day one, giving you the opportunity to coordinate engineering activities, mentor junior staff and work closely with project management to ensure programmes are delivered efficiently from start to finish.

Requirements:
- Third level qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience working as a site based Engineer in Ireland.
- Previous experience delivering water or utilities projects is advantageous.
- Full Irish Driving Licence is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering function across allocated sections of work, ensuring activities are completed safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications.
- Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers while maintaining close communication with the Project Manager and site management team.
- Review construction drawings, manage technical queries and maintain all engineering documentation + quality records.
- Track progress against programme, identify potential risks and implement practical engineering solutions to keep works moving efficiently.
