An opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a long established Irish Main Contractor on a high spec €15m refurbishment and extension project in Drogheda.
The project involves the careful redevelopment of an existing historical building, combining complex refurbishment and conservation works with a substantial new build extension.
You’ll be joining a contractor with 60+ years in the Irish construction industry and an established track record across commercial, residential, fit out and conservation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate engineering activities across the project, as well as ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Liaise closely with the design team, subcontractors and site management to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor subcontractor works and verify quality and compliance against project requirements.
- Provide technical support to the wider site team throughout the refurbishment and construction works.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of site engineering experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland.
- Strong experience across residential, commercial or similar building projects.
- Excellent understanding of setting out, quality control and construction drawings.
