The Company
This role is with a well-established international contractor delivering large-scale data centre and mission critical projects across Europe. Known for technical excellence and consistent project delivery, the company operates at the forefront of complex MEP construction.
You will be joining a high-performing engineering and BIM team on a major data centre development in Spain, working in a collaborative environment that prioritises quality, coordination, and innovation in building services delivery.
The Role – MEP Detailer
As an MEP Detailer, you will play a key role in the production and coordination of mechanical installation drawings on a large-scale data centre project. This is a technically focused role where precision, coordination, and understanding of buildability are critical to successful project delivery.
You will work closely with engineers, BIM teams, and site personnel to ensure all mechanical services are fully coordinated, clash free, and aligned with programme requirements, supporting installation through to commissioning and handover.

You will work closely with engineers, BIM teams, and site personnel to ensure all mechanical services are fully coordinated, clash free, and aligned with programme requirements, supporting installation through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality mechanical installation drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate HVAC, pipework, and plant layouts within a BIM environment
- Ensure all drawings are fully coordinated and clash free prior to issue
- Manage drawing revisions, updates, and document control processes
- Support site teams with accurate and up-to-date technical information
- Assist in resolving coordination issues and technical queries through RFIs
- Work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams
- Contribute to as-built drawings and handover documentation
- Maintain strong awareness of installation sequencing and site constraints
- Background in Mechanical Building Services, BIM or MEP detailing
- Proven experience as an MEP Detailer or BIM Technician on construction projects
- Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or large commercial projects is highly desirable
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Solid technical understanding of HVAC systems, pipework and mechanical services
- Ability to produce coordinated, buildable drawings to a high standard
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
Salary: €65,000 (DOE)
