Mechanical Project Engineer Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Mechanical Project Engineer role within the building services sector.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services systems.
- Familiarity with Irish building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full driving licence preferred.
As a Mechanical Project Engineer:
- Coordinate and manage the mechanical aspects of building services projects on-site.
- Review mechanical designs, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and the internal team to ensure project delivery aligns with programme and budget.
- Supervise site works and support commissioning activities.
- Ensure works comply with current health and safety legislation and company HSEQ procedures.
- Track project progress, report updates, and attend site/project meetings.
- Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractors.
- Provide technical support and input during design coordination workshops and construction phases.
