The Company
A well established Irish mechanical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering large scale commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical and healthcare projects across Dublin and nationwide is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their growing delivery team.

The Role – Mechanical Project Engineer
Based in Dublin, the Mechanical Project Engineer will support the successful delivery of mechanical building services packages from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.
You will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and design consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. A strong background in BIM coordination and Revit is essential for this role.

Salary: €65,000 to €80,000 DOE

The Role – Mechanical Project Engineer
Based in Dublin, the Mechanical Project Engineer will support the successful delivery of mechanical building services packages from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.
You will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and design consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. A strong background in BIM coordination and Revit is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical building services installations on commercial and industrial projects
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals
- Use Revit and BIM software to assist with design coordination and clash detection
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
- Monitor project progress and support programme delivery
- Ensure works are completed to required quality and safety standards
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support to site teams
- Assist with procurement of mechanical equipment and materials
- Support commissioning activities and project handover documentation
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting throughout delivery phases
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar
- 3 years’ experience in a Mechanical Project Engineer or Building Services Engineer role
- Strong Revit and BIM coordination experience is essential
- Experience working with mechanical contractors or MEP contractors preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, pipework, ducting and mechanical services installations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast paced construction environments
- Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail
- Driven, ambitious and eager to progress within the mechanical building services sector
Salary: €65,000 to €80,000 DOE
