We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join an Engineering’s growing delivery team, supporting the execution of industrial and process engineering projects across the Cork region.
This role will suit an engineer with strong mechanical systems knowledge who enjoys working in a live project environment, supporting installations from early coordination through to commissioning and handover. Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Degree or trade background in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
- Experience working on industrial, process, utilities or energy projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical plant, pipework and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, P&IDs and specifications
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full Irish driving licence
- Support the delivery of mechanical and process installations on live project
- Coordinate site activities with subcontractors and supervisors
- Assist with RAMS, inspections and QA/QC processes
- Support commissioning, snagging and handover activities
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and site teams
