The Role – M&E Coordinator
As an M&E Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and delivery of all mechanical and electrical services on site, ensuring alignment between design, installation and commissioning.
You will work closely with project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure MEP services are fully integrated into the construction programme and delivered in line with quality, safety and programme requirements.
This role is key to ensuring that building services are coordinated effectively from early design stages through to commissioning and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 (DOE)

You will work closely with project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure MEP services are fully integrated into the construction programme and delivered in line with quality, safety and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical services across multiple project phases from pre-construction through to completion.
- Review and manage M&E drawings, specifications and technical submittals to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Work closely with design teams and subcontractors to resolve clashes and coordinate services within the overall build.
- Monitor progress of M&E works against programme and report on key milestones and risks.
- Ensure all installations meet required quality standards and are delivered in line with project specifications.
- Attend site meetings and act as the main point of contact for all M&E-related coordination issues.
- Support commissioning activities and ensure smooth handover of all building services systems.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, technical queries and as-built information.
- Background in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering, or a strong trade background in M&E.
- Experience working as an M&E Coordinator, Building Services Engineer or similar role with a main contractor or MEP contractor.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within commercial or residential construction projects.
- Experience reviewing drawings, specifications and coordinating services on site.
- Good knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and programme delivery.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
- Detail-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving and coordination.
