The Role – Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
This is a key role within the commercial team, supporting the financial management of a large scale commercial construction project in North Dublin.
You will work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor and project team, gaining exposure across all aspects of cost management while helping to ensure the project is delivered within budget and to the highest commercial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
• Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and appointment
• Prepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and identify any risks or variations
• Support the management of subcontractor payments and accounts
• Assist with contract administration and commercial reporting
• Liaise with site teams to track progress and costs
• Ensure strong cost control throughout the project lifecycle
About You:
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• 2 to 4 years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
• Experience working on commercial or large scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost control and procurement
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation ability
• Highly organised with attention to detail
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a main contractor environment
