The Role – Health & Safety Advisor
As Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting project delivery across Ireland, ensuring that safety remains at the core of all operations.
Working within a dedicated HSEQ team, you’ll promote a proactive safety culture, provide guidance to site teams, and drive continual improvement in compliance, reporting, and awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and training to site personnel.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Support the implementation of safety management systems across multiple projects.
- Monitor site safety performance and maintain accurate H&S documentation.
- Assist in developing and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, reporting findings to management.
- Support environmental and sustainability initiatives in line with company goals.
- Liaise with site teams, management, and clients to promote best practices.
About You
- Degree or diploma in Health & Safety, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in construction, civils, or utilities environments.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, risk management, and auditing.
- Full, clean driving licence essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead.
- Proactive, organised, and confident working across multiple sites.
- Experience in utilities, drainage, or civils projects preferred.
- IT proficient with good reporting and documentation skills.
