Company: Established Irish Main Contractor delivering large scale public sector and education projects across Dublin and Leinster.
Package: €60,000 to €70,000 + vehicle, pension and benefits

A well-established Irish main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality education, healthcare, residential and commercial developments throughout Ireland.
With a strong order book of public sector work, they are now delivering a €25 million school development in North Dublin. Safety is central to how they operate, with experienced management teams, well-resourced sites and a genuine commitment to maintaining the highest Health & Safety standards.
The Role: Health & Safety Advisor
Based on a €25 million school development in North Dublin, the Health & Safety Advisor will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Management team and subcontractors to ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
This is a site-based position where you'll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, carrying out inspections, supporting site teams and ensuring the project is delivered safely from start to completion.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have experience as a Health & Safety Advisor on Irish construction projects.
• A recognised Health & Safety qualification is required.
• Experience working with a main contractor in Ireland is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations.
• Full driving licence.
Preferred Experience
• Education or public sector construction experience.
• Experience using digital inspection and reporting systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out regular site inspections and Health & Safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and current Health & Safety legislation.
• Prepare site reports and maintain accurate Health & Safety documentation.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with site management to reduce risks and improve site safety performance.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Assist with risk assessments, method statements and permit systems.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across the project.
About You:
You have proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor with an Irish main contractor and are confident working on busy building projects. You are organised, approachable and capable of building strong relationships with site teams while maintaining the highest safety standards.
You understand the demands of programme delivery while ensuring Health & Safety remains the priority and are comfortable communicating with subcontractors, management and client representatives.
