The Company
This leading Tier 1 main contractor has a strong track record delivering major construction projects across Ireland, including large-scale residential, commercial, healthcare, education, fit-out and refurbishment developments.
With a major 800-unit residential development underway in North Dublin, they are now looking to strengthen the site management team with an experienced Finishing Supervisor.
The project comprises multiple apartment blocks together with associated amenity, community and external works, providing a substantial pipeline of finishing works as the development progresses.
This is an opportunity to join an experienced project team on a significant long-term construction project, with career progression and continued professional development available within the business.
The Role: Finishing Supervisor
As Finishing Supervisor, you will take responsibility for coordinating and driving finishing works on this major 800-unit residential development in North Dublin.
Working closely with the Site Manager and wider construction team, you will coordinate finishing trades and subcontractors, monitor quality and ensure completed apartments and common areas are progressed through snagging and close-out in line with programme.
You will have a strong focus on quality finishes, sequencing and subcontractor coordination, ensuring works are completed correctly first time and reducing rework as the project progresses towards handover.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Finishing Supervisor or Finishing Foreman with a strong understanding of how to bring apartments and common areas through finishes, snagging and final handover.
You should be comfortable coordinating multiple subcontractors and finishing trades while maintaining a close eye on workmanship, programme and Health & Safety.
Large-scale residential experience would be beneficial, but candidates coming from high-specification commercial, healthcare, fit-out or other major construction projects will also be considered.

Must Have Requirements
- Proven experience required supervising finishing works on large construction projects
- Previous experience as a Finishing Supervisor, Finishing Foreman or similar site management role
- Strong knowledge of internal finishes, snagging, quality control and handover
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple finishing trades
- Large-scale residential or apartment project experience beneficial
- Tier 1 or main contractor experience preferred
- Fit-out or high-specification finishing experience beneficial
- Experience with digital snagging and site reporting systems beneficial
- Coordinate finishing trades and specialist subcontractors
- Plan and sequence finishing works in line with programme
- Monitor workmanship and maintain required quality standards
- Carry out inspections and manage snagging and defect close-out
- Coordinate follow-on trades and resolve interface issues
- Monitor Health & Safety across finishing activities
- Maintain progress records and support handover documentation
- Work closely with the Site Manager and wider site team to achieve programme targets
