Electrical Project QC Lead – Sweden

You are an experienced Electrical Quality / QC professional with a strong background in delivering mission-critical electrical systems, looking to join a leading international contractor working on large-scale data centre and advanced technology projects across Europe.

This is a senior site-based role offering long-term stability, exposure to complex “first-of-a-kind” systems, and the opportunity to play a key role in system walkdowns, test pack development and project handover. You will work closely with Project, Engineering, Planning, Commissioning and EHS teams to ensure electrical works are delivered safely, to programme and in full compliance with quality standards.

This contractor has a strong forward order book (5 years), a collaborative culture, and a proven track record of developing and promoting internal talent.

Electrical Project QC Lead – Skills & Experience:

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
  
  
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quality / QC role, ideally within data centres or critical infrastructure
  
  
• Strong knowledge of relevant electrical and construction industry standards
  
  
• Proven experience developing and managing Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  
  
• Experience leading system walkdowns (W1 / W2 / W3) and supporting system turnover
  
  
• ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification
  
  
• Strong understanding of defect management, snagging and punch-list close-out
  
  
• Experience leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
  
  
• Ability to scope, plan and execute quality risk reviews
  
  
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills
  
  
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  
  

As an Electrical Project QC Lead:

• Lead by example across quality, ethics, EHS, teamwork and site behaviours
  
  
• Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans
  
  
• Plan and lead system walkdowns in line with project programmes
  
  
• Manage and coordinate a team of Electrical Inspectors
  
  
• Define system boundaries and test pack structures, tracking progress through to completion
  
  
• Review construction methodologies, including off-site manufacturing (OSM), and develop inspection matrices
  
  
• Oversee completion of inspection checklists and snag closure ahead of walkdowns
  
  
• Review defects, punch-lists and trends, identifying recurring quality issues
  
  
• Implement and manage First of Kind / Benchmark installations
  
  
• Proactively identify improvement areas and drive corrective action plans
  
  
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on quality performance to senior stakeholders
  
  
• Support successful system turnover and project handover activities
