The Company
This European data centre contractor is one of the industry's leading turnkey delivery specialists, providing complete design, construction and commissioning services across some of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developments.
With multiple projects currently under construction across Europe, the company continues to expand its engineering teams and is now seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a flagship data centre project in Skellefteå, Sweden.
The Role: Electrical Engineer
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of electrical systems from installation through to commissioning and final handover.
Working closely with subcontractors, site management, design teams and client representatives, you will ensure electrical works are delivered safely, to programme and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Must Have Requirements
You are an Electrical Engineer with strong construction experience who enjoys taking ownership of technical delivery on major projects.
You are comfortable working with subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams, with the ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining programme and quality objectives.
You are looking to develop your career on complex hyperscale data centre projects with one of Europe's leading specialist contractors.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience delivering electrical works on large-scale construction projects.
- Experience coordinating electrical subcontractors and site installation activities.
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, technical submittals and construction sequencing.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical construction projects.
- Knowledge of LV power distribution, lighting, containment and associated electrical services.
- Experience managing QA/QC inspections, RFIs and technical submittals.
- Experience supporting commissioning and project handover activities.
- Commercial awareness with experience assisting in variation management and progress reporting.
- Previous European project experience.
- Knowledge of BIM and digital construction platforms.
- Experience working with major international contractors.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and quality procedures.
- Support the delivery of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors and daily site activities.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Manage RFIs, technical queries and technical submittals.
- Monitor installation progress and provide regular programme updates.
- Carry out site inspections and support QA/QC procedures.
- Assist with installation verification and electrical system inspections.
- Attend engineering, planning and coordination meetings.
- Support commissioning activities, testing and final handover.
- Track variations and assist the commercial team where required.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate practical solutions with design and construction teams.
- Manage electrical snagging activities and assist with project close-out.
- Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety, quality and technical compliance on site.
