Job title: Electrical Construction Manager – Data Centre
Location: Skellefteå, Västerbotten County, Sweden

Package: Salary up to €110,000 DOE + €250 net weekly subsistence + solo accommodation + flights + 3/1 or 5/1 rotation
The Company
This international data centre contractor delivers large-scale mission-critical projects across Europe, covering projects from design and construction through to commissioning.
They are looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join the project team on a major data centre development in Skellefteå, Sweden, with a strong pipeline of further European projects.
The Role: Electrical Construction Manager
As Electrical Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of electrical construction activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Working closely with the Project Manager, planners, design team and commercial team, you will manage electrical subcontractors, construction sequencing, QA/QC, technical coordination and handover.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with a strong site delivery background and proven experience managing significant electrical works on large-scale construction projects.
You should be comfortable leading subcontractors, driving programme and maintaining high standards across safety, quality and technical delivery from installation through to commissioning and handover.

This Electrical Construction Manager role gives you responsibility for the delivery of major electrical works on a large-scale data centre project in Skellefteå, with involvement from construction through testing, snagging and handover.
The Sweden package includes a salary up to €110,000 DOE, €250 net weekly subsistence on top, solo accommodation, return flights and a choice of 3/1 or 5/1 rotation, alongside long-term opportunities across the contractor’s European project pipeline.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 7+ years’ experience within electrical construction, with a strong site management background.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a similar discipline required.
- Proven experience managing electrical systems on large-scale construction projects required.
- Strong experience managing electrical subcontractors, construction sequencing and programme delivery required.
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience preferred.
- Previous European construction experience beneficial.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation and commissioning processes advantageous.
- Manage and oversee electrical construction activities across the project.
- Lead day-to-day electrical site operations and coordinate with the wider project team.
- Manage electrical subcontractor performance, manpower and progress against programme.
- Implement and maintain QA/QC processes in line with project specifications.
- Coordinate construction schedules with planners, Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants and design teams.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals for compliance and buildability.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure construction information is issued in line with programme.
- Lead site, engineering, planning and handover meetings where required.
- Maintain strong health and safety standards across electrical works.
- Track variations and costs in conjunction with the commercial team.
- Prepare progress reports for senior management and the project team.
- Manage electrical snagging and drive works through to close-out.
- Resolve technical, design and coordination issues affecting site delivery.
