The Company
This established international contractor specialises in the delivery of complex mission critical and data centre projects across Europe. With a strong pipeline of large scale developments in Germany, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering technically challenging projects safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced EHS Advisor to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Hessen, Germany. Working alongside a well-resourced Health & Safety team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the highest environmental, health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
The Role: EHS Advisor
As an EHS Advisor, you will support the implementation of the company's Environmental, Health and Safety Management System across a live data centre construction project. You will work closely with site management, subcontractors and client representatives to promote a positive safety culture while ensuring compliance with German legislation, company procedures and project-specific requirements.
This is a site-based position reporting to the Senior EHS Manager and offers genuine long-term progression within a growing European construction business.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced EHS Advisor with a strong construction background and a practical approach to site safety. You enjoy working closely with operational teams, building positive relationships while maintaining high standards of compliance. You are organised, confident communicating with subcontractors and management, and committed to creating a safe working environment on large-scale construction projects.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 3+ years' experience in an EHS Advisor or Health & Safety Advisor role within construction
- Experience on data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical or large commercial construction projects is required
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH, Diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong understanding of construction safety legislation and site compliance
- Full working rights within the EU or eligibility to work in Germany
- Data centre construction experience preferred
- Environmental management experience beneficial
- Experience carrying out incident investigations and safety audits
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- First Aid qualification
- Environmental qualification or ISO 14001 knowledge
- Experience using digital safety management systems
- Support the implementation of the Environmental, Health & Safety Management System across the project
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety observations
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with project safety requirements
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Review RAMS, permits to work and high-risk activities
- Maintain accurate EHS records, reports and documentation
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all site teams
- Liaise with project management, client representatives and regulatory authorities where required
- Support environmental compliance, waste management and sustainability initiatives
