The Company
This well-established Irish main contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging projects across the pharmaceutical, semiconductor, life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors. Their work includes cleanroom construction, high-spec production facilities and complex industrial developments throughout Ireland.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to appoint an Intermediate Health & Safety Advisor for a major cleanroom construction project in Leixlip, Co Kildare. You will join an experienced safety team with excellent support and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
The Role: Intermediate Health & Safety Advisor
As an Intermediate Health & Safety Advisor, you will play an important role in maintaining the highest safety standards on a busy cleanroom construction project in Leixlip. Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Management team and Senior Health & Safety professionals, you will help ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with company procedures and current legislation.

Must Have Requirements
• Must have 2+ years' experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within construction.
• Experience working with a main contractor in Ireland is required.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH, Degree or Diploma.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
• Full driving licence.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience on pharmaceutical, cleanroom, industrial or large commercial construction projects.
• Internal auditing or inspection experience.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Nice to Have:
• IOSH membership or working towards IOSH.
• Manual Handling Instructor or other relevant safety certifications.
• Experience using digital inspection or reporting software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with implementing the company's Health & Safety Management System on site.
• Carry out regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Support site management with risk assessments and method statements.
• Deliver site safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Investigate incidents and near misses while assisting with corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate Health & Safety records and reports.
• Promote a positive safety culture across all site activities.
• Liaise with project management, subcontractors and client representatives regarding Health & Safety matters.
