The Company
This Irish engineering contractor delivers water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland, covering MEICA works, treatment plant upgrades, commissioning and operations.
They are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to work across projects in the East of Ireland, supporting the commissioning and upgrade of water and wastewater treatment plants.
The Role: Commissioning Engineer
You will work as part of the MEICA team managing commissioning, plant upgrades and start-up activities across multiple treatment plant sites.
The role involves coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and operations personnel to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required technical standards.
Must Have Requirements
You will have at least 3 years’ relevant engineering experience with a practical understanding of commissioning, MEICA or water and wastewater treatment.
A Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science or related qualification is preferred, with Chartership or progress towards Chartership beneficial.

Must Have Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant industry experience
- Water, wastewater, MEICA or commissioning experience required
- Full clean Irish driving licence
- Authorised to work in Ireland
- Manage commissioning and start-up activities on water and wastewater projects
- Coordinate plant upgrades, testing and handover
- Work with MEICA teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Support SCADA upgrades and process commissioning
- Prepare commissioning procedures, operational documentation and Safety Files
- Coordinate with client and operations teams throughout project delivery
You will have at least 3 years’ relevant engineering experience with a practical understanding of commissioning, MEICA or water and wastewater treatment.
