The Role – Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician
This is a hands-on role within a busy maintenance team, focusing on the servicing, repair and upkeep of commercial boilers, HVAC systems and associated mechanical services. You will be responsible for ensuring systems operate efficiently across a range of live environments including healthcare and commercial sites.
The role offers a high level of autonomy, working across multiple sites while maintaining strong communication with the service team and clients. You will play a key role in maintaining system reliability, safety compliance and overall service delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €55,000 – €65,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial boilers and mechanical systems
- Service and repair HVAC units, gas systems and associated plant equipment
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of quality control and compliance on all sites
- Liaise with service desk to respond to reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site teams
- Participate in on-call rota for out-of-hours support
- Qualified in a relevant mechanical, plumbing or HVAC trade
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial boiler maintenance or building services
- Strong knowledge of gas systems, heating systems and HVAC maintenance
- Experience working in live environments such as healthcare or commercial buildings
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Good communication skills and client-facing experience
- Full driving licence essential
- OFTEC or gas-related certifications advantageous
Salary: €55,000 – €65,000 (DOE)
