We are seeking a BIM Technician to play a key role in delivering high-quality residential and commercial construction projects across North Dublin and the Leinster region. This is a digitally driven role involving detailed 3D modelling, coordinated drawings, clash detection, and supporting construction teams with accurate, timely, and buildable design information.

BIM Technician Skills:


  • Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with experience producing coordinated 3D models and detailed drawings.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings and integrate them into coordinated digital models.
  • Experience with clash detection workflows and model federation.
  • Understanding of residential or commercial construction methods, building regulations, and project sequencing.
  • Comfortable working with cloud-based CDE platforms such as BIM360, Viewpoint, or Dalux.
  • Suitable for candidates with a BIM qualification, engineering/technical background, or strong practical construction knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
As a BIM Technician:
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed 3D models and 2D construction drawings for residential and commercial projects.
  • Support design coordination by federating models and conducting regular clash detection exercises.
  • Review design information from architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring full coordination before issuing for construction.
  • Produce plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and detailed construction sheets to support site teams.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure the build aligns with design intent.
  • Maintain drawing registers, model revisions, redlines, and digital documentation to project standards.
  • Assist with BIM workflows, digital procedures, quality checks, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in design and coordination meetings, contributing technical insights and digital updates.
  • Troubleshoot model issues, resolve clashes, and assist with design queries as they arise.
  • Ensure all digital information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with project requirements.
The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of €45,000–€55,000 plus package, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional development, training, and long-term progression.
