A well established Irish main contractor is seeking a Site Manager for a school project in Co Kildare. The company has a strong record delivering education, public sector and building projects across Leinster, with a practical approach to programme, safety and quality.
They are known for well organised site teams, steady project delivery and a strong pipeline of work across Kildare and the wider Dublin region.
The Role: Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of a school construction project in Co Kildare, managing site activity, subcontractors, logistics, quality and health and safety.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to keep the project moving to programme while maintaining strong standards across finishes, coordination and compliance.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have proven experience as a Site Manager on Irish building projects
• Experience with a main contractor in Ireland is required
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, subcontractor coordination and programme delivery
• Experience on education, public sector or live site projects is preferred
Preferred Experience:
• School project experience preferred
• Strong IT and reporting skills beneficial
• Trade or construction management background beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily site operations on the school project in Co Kildare
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, labour and site logistics
• Drive programme delivery and report progress to the Project Manager
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site
• Oversee quality control, snagging and finishes
• Liaise with design teams, engineers and client representatives where required
• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme
• Keep accurate site records and progress reports
About You:
You are an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in Irish construction and a practical understanding of how to keep a building project moving.
You will be organised, hands on and confident managing subcontractors, site logistics, quality standards and daily coordination on a school project in Co Kildare.
