Job title: Site Manager – Public Sector Development
Location: West Dublin, Co Dublin

Package: €80,000 to €85,000 + package
The Company
This established Irish main contractor has a strong track record delivering large scale, technically demanding construction projects across Ireland, including major public sector, residential, healthcare, commercial and institutional developments.
They are currently delivering a €400m secure public sector development in West Dublin, involving substantial new build and extension works within a controlled live environment. The project has a significant programme ahead and is being delivered by an experienced project and site management team.
The Role: Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day management of a four storey block extension forming part of this major €400m development in West Dublin.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage programme delivery and ensure works are completed safely and to the required quality standards. The controlled nature of the site means strong planning, logistics and communication will be particularly important.

You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and a track record of delivering substantial building projects in Ireland.
You will be comfortable managing subcontractors, sequencing works and driving programme in a busy live site environment. Strong attention to quality, safety and site organisation is essential, particularly given the controlled nature and scale of this West Dublin project.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have proven Site Manager experience with a main contractor in Ireland
- Strong experience managing building works from structure through to finishes
- Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and driving programme on large construction projects
- Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety and quality requirements
Preferred Experience
- Experience on large scale public sector or institutional projects preferred
- Previous experience working within a live or controlled site environment beneficial
- Experience managing multi storey building projects advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day construction activities on the four storey block extension
- Coordinate subcontractors, site labour, materials and site logistics
- Drive works in line with the construction programme and key milestones
- Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the site
- Oversee quality control from structural works through to quality finishes
- Work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, design team and subcontractors
- Manage short term programmes and identify potential delays early
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and quality documentation
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
