With a major multi-phase social housing development now underway in Tipperary, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take a leading role in coordinating and delivering this flagship project.

The Role – Site Manager (Social Housing)
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for all on-site activities, overseeing construction from groundworks through to completion. You will manage subcontractors, monitor progress, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and maintain strong communication with the wider project team.

The Role – Site Manager (Social Housing)
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for all on-site activities, overseeing construction from groundworks through to completion. You will manage subcontractors, monitor progress, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and maintain strong communication with the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations on a major social housing development
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, plant, and materials
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and design specifications
- Maintain high standards of quality across all phases of construction
- Enforce Health & Safety procedures and promote a safe site environment
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, local authorities, and design teams
- Ensure site documentation and daily reports are completed accurately
- Monitor site progress, manage labour, and resolve issues proactively
- Oversee snagging, inspections, and final handover requirements
- Support a positive site culture, leading by example in professionalism and communication
About You
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor or developer
- Proven experience delivering residential or social housing projects
- Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing, trades, and building regulations
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and drive projects to completion
- Trade or construction management background preferred
- Full clean driving licence and valid Safepass (Manual Handling desirable)
