We are seeking a Site Manager to oversee the mechanical and electrical delivery of data centre water treatment projects across Ireland & Europe. This role will appeal to someone with strong technical experience in mechanical, electrical, or process water engineering who enjoys leading site teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring complex installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Based out of Co. Cork, the position will involve extended travel across Europe to manage installation and commissioning works. You will take ownership of the on-site delivery of specialist water treatment systems, ensuring all equipment, pipework, instrumentation, electrical panels, and automation systems are installed and tested correctly in line with project specifications.

Site Manager Skills:

Site Manager Skills:
- Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or process water engineering.
- Experience delivering M&E installations on complex projects.
- Ability to lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with project managers and clients.
- Strong understanding of GA drawings, P&IDs, and familiarity with electrical SLDs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and proven experience managing site safety.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to make key decisions on delivery.
- Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
- Experience in the data centre industry is an advantage.
- Oversee all mechanical and electrical installation works for water treatment systems on data centre projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth site delivery.
- Lead and mentor site teams to maintain productivity and high standards of workmanship.
- Ensure all works meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Supervise subcontractors, monitor progress against programme, and enforce safety protocols.
- Oversee commissioning and testing activities to ensure full system functionality.
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly, reporting updates to the project manager.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including installations, inspections, testing, and monthly progress reports.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and manage all HSQE requirements on site, including RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks, and safe plans of action.
