Job title: Site Manager – Data Centre Fit Out
Location: Finland

Package: €70,000 to €75,000 salary DOE + bonus, living away allowance, pension, return flights and accommodation

This specialist contractor delivers technically demanding fit out packages across major data centre projects in Ireland and Europe.
With a strong workload across the European data centre sector, they have built their reputation around programme delivery, quality finishes and well managed site operations. The Finland team is delivering a multi million euro data centre fit out with experienced construction and commercial teams supporting the project.
The Role: Site Manager
This Site Manager role is based in Finland, taking responsibility for the day to day delivery of fit out works on a major multi million euro data centre project.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage site activities and drive works against programme. You will have responsibility for quality, health and safety, sequencing and ensuring individual packages are completed correctly and ready for handover.
The position requires a Site Manager who can take ownership of their area, manage subcontractors effectively and maintain progress in a demanding data centre environment.

About You
You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong construction or fit out background and the ability to manage your own section of a busy project.
You should be practical, organised and comfortable dealing directly with subcontractors on site. Experience on data centres, large scale fit outs or technically demanding construction projects would be particularly relevant.
You will need to be confident working away from home and capable of maintaining high standards of programme delivery, safety and quality throughout the project.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have previous Site Manager or construction management experience on large scale building or fit out projects
- Proven subcontractor coordination and programme delivery experience required
- Must be comfortable working in Finland on a living away basis
- Strong knowledge of quality control, health and safety and construction sequencing required
Preferred Experience
- Data centre construction or fit out experience preferred
- Experience delivering technically detailed fit out packages beneficial
- Previous experience working on European construction projects advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site activities and drive fit out works in line with the construction programme
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials and individual work packages
- Monitor quality finishes and ensure works are completed to drawings and specification
- Maintain strong health and safety standards throughout the site
- Work closely with the Project Manager and wider construction team to resolve site issues
- Monitor progress, identify potential programme delays and ensure areas are ready for inspection and handover
