The Company
One of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a €20m, education development in South Kildare.
The project involves significant new build works alongside demolition, refurbishment, external works and associated site development within a live education environment.
This is a substantial project offering long-term work in Co Kildare with a major Irish contractor known for delivering complex education, commercial, residential and public sector developments.
The Role: Site Manager
As Site Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of works on this €20m education project in South Kildare, working closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, subcontractors and wider site team.
You’ll manage subcontractors, drive the programme and ensure works are delivered safely and to a high standard. With works taking place within a live school environment, careful planning, site logistics, sequencing and coordination will be important throughout the build.
Must Have Requirements
You’ll be an experienced Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and the ability to take ownership of a busy section of a major construction project.
You’ll be strong on subcontractor management, sequencing, programme and quality, with the practical site experience needed to keep works moving safely within a live education environment.

Must Have Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in construction site management
- Strong main contractor experience
- Experience delivering large-scale building projects
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme
- Strong understanding of quality and Health & Safety requirements
- Education or public sector construction experience
- Experience working within a live site environment
- Tier 1 or major Irish main contractor experience advantageous
- Relevant construction qualification beneficial
- Manage day-to-day construction activities on site
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades
- Drive works in line with the construction programme
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Engineers and design team
- Monitor quality and ensure works meet required specifications
- Manage labour, materials and site logistics
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are maintained
- Attend progress and coordination meetings
- Manage inspections, snagging and completion of works
- Identify potential programme issues and resolve them early
