Overview:
An established Irish Main Contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a €20m renovation and extension of a protected educational facility in Co. Westmeath.
This is a technically challenging project involving the refurbishment of a historic structure alongside the construction of a modern extension, requiring an excellent attention to detail.
It’s with a main contractor that has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality commercial, educational, healthcare and residential projects across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out and surveying duties across all stages of construction as well as assisting with quality control procedures, inspections and QA documentation.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor activities and support site management in coordinating daily operations.
- Liaise with design teams and management to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 2 years of experience in a Site Engineer role in Ireland.
- Strong setting out experience using modern surveying equipment.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
