The Company
This established civil engineering contractor has a strong track record delivering complex infrastructure and structural projects throughout Ireland, including bridges, roadworks and associated civil engineering works.
With a solid pipeline of work across Munster, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent for a structures project in Co Kerry.
The Role: Site Agent
As Site Agent, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of structural and civil engineering works in Co Kerry, with a particular focus on bridge construction.
Working closely with the Project Manager, engineers and site teams, you will manage programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, quality and health and safety while ensuring works are completed to the required technical standards.

You will be an experienced Site Agent with at least 7 years’ post-graduate experience and a strong background in bridges, structures and civil engineering projects.
You should be comfortable taking ownership of site delivery, managing teams and subcontractors and driving works to programme while maintaining strong standards across safety, quality and technical compliance.

- Must have 7+ years’ post-graduate experience within civil engineering
- Proven experience required on bridges and structural civil engineering projects
- Strong site management and programme delivery experience
- Experience working with a civil engineering or main contractor in Ireland is required
- Experience delivering bridge construction, reinforced concrete and structural works
- Strong knowledge of temporary works, quality procedures and civil engineering specifications
- Experience managing engineers, foremen and subcontractors
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations and programme delivery
- Coordinate engineers, foremen, subcontractors and site resources
- Oversee bridge and structural works in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site
- Monitor quality, technical compliance and project documentation
- Liaise with the Project Manager, design team and client representatives
- Identify programme risks and resolve site issues before they affect delivery
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard
About You
