Senior Site Engineer
Location: Dublin City Centre
The Package: €75,000 – €80,000 + Vehicle + Fuel Card + Matched Pension Scheme
The Project: Major Rail Infrastructure project
Company: Irish Main Contractor
Overview:
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join an established Irish Main Contractor delivering a technically challenging rail infrastructure project in Dublin City Centre.
You’ll be joining a contractor with 30+ years of experience delivering specialist construction projects across Ireland, with a particularly strong track record of working in complex live environments where quality, safety, programme and coordination are critical.
The project itself involves a major upgrade to an operational rail facility, incorporating significant civil and structural works, reinforced concrete, groundworks, building refurbishment, services upgrades and rail related infrastructure.
For an engineer, it’s a particularly interesting project technically. Rather than working on a repetitive residential or commercial build, you’ll gain exposure to a broad mix of civil, structural and building works while operating within a highly controlled live infrastructure environment.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, design team, specialist subcontractors and client representatives, taking ownership of engineering, setting out, QA and technical coordination across your section of the works.
The contractor places a strong emphasis on collaborative working, lean construction, quality and continuous improvement, while investing heavily in staff training and development.
There is a genuine opportunity here to broaden your technical experience and build a strong platform for progression into Project Management.
