Overview:
Excellent opportunity for a Senior Site Engineer to join one of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project in Co. Wicklow.
This is a large scale, technically challenging project incorporating substantial structural works, major concrete packages, extensive civil and site infrastructure, energy infrastructure and highly coordinated mission critical facilities.
You’ll be joining an experienced construction team on a long-term project where you’ll take ownership of key engineering packages, supervise Setting Out Engineers and work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design team and specialist subcontractors.
The contractor is one of the most established names in the Irish construction industry, with a strong pipeline across data centres, commercial, residential, healthcare, education, life sciences and industrial projects.
There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaborative problem-solving, with engineers being encouraged to bring ideas to the table and take increasing responsibility as they develop and high performance is recognised with opportunities for promotion and progression.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for engineering and setting out activities across allocated sections of the project.
- Review construction drawings, specifications and technical information, ensuring calculations and setting out information are accurate.
- Liaise closely with subcontractors, the design team, client representatives and other project stakeholders to resolve technical queries and coordinate works.
- Work closely with the Site Manager and wider construction team to plan, coordinate and sequence works effectively.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong setting out and surveying experience using Total Station, GPS and Laser Levels.
- Previous experience on data centre or industrial projects would be advantageous.
