Job title: Senior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre
Location: Espoo, Finland

Package: €95,000 to €110,000 DOE + European package
The Company
This international contractor delivers large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, covering CSA, mechanical and electrical construction through to commissioning.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major data centre project in Espoo, Finland, with private accommodation, a €250 per week net allowance and rotational options available.
The Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of significant work packages, working closely with the Project Director and wider commercial team.
You will manage procurement, subcontractor accounts, cost control, valuations, claims and final accounts while maintaining strong commercial relationships with the client and project team.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who can take ownership of major commercial packages with minimal supervision.
You will have strong contractual and commercial knowledge, good negotiation skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients, subcontractors and senior project management.

Must Have Requirements
- 8+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience within construction or specialist contracting.
- Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience managing significant subcontract packages and project budgets.
- Strong experience with valuations, variations, claims and final accounts.
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience preferred.
- MEP or specialist contracting experience beneficial.
- Previous European project experience advantageous.
- Manage project budgets and commercial performance.
- Measure work packages from drawings and prepare package pricing.
- Lead procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages.
- Manage client and subcontractor commercial communications.
- Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports and commercial reports.
- Submit contractual claims and notices within required timeframes.
- Manage variations and changes to work scopes.
- Negotiate subcontractor accounts and resolve commercial disputes.
- Drive packages through to final account.
