With a growing workload and a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their experienced team in Bray, Co Wicklow. The Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the mechanical design and delivery of a wide range of building services projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary design teams, you will ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical standards while meeting programme and budget requirements.
This office-based role is located in Bray, Co Wicklow, with the opportunity to work remotely 1 to 2 days per week following an initial settling-in period. Candidates based in Dublin, Wicklow or Wexford are encouraged to apply.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Building Services or MEP consultancy. You enjoy taking ownership of projects, leading design teams and delivering practical engineering solutions that meet client expectations.
You have excellent communication skills, are highly organised and take pride in producing high-quality technical work. You are comfortable managing multiple projects while supporting and mentoring junior engineers within the business.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Must have 5+ years' experience in Mechanical Building Services / MEP design in Ireland
- Proven experience leading mechanical design projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE standards and relevant design codes
- Applicants must currently be based in Ireland and legally entitled to work in Ireland
- Chartered Engineer status or currently working towards chartership
- Experience across commercial, residential, healthcare or education projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design software including AutoCAD, Revit or IES
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Lead mechanical building services design across multiple projects
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports and specifications
- Produce and review mechanical system designs for quality and compliance
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and wider design teams
- Manage project programmes, budgets and technical delivery
- Attend client and design team meetings throughout project delivery
- Mentor graduate and intermediate mechanical engineers
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards
- Support sustainable design solutions and energy-efficient building performance
