The Role – Senior Electrical Engineer
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take ownership of electrical design and delivery across a range of water treatment and process engineering projects. You will be involved from concept and design through to project execution, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
This is a senior-level role where you will act as the main point of contact for electrical design queries while also mentoring junior engineers and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead electrical design for water treatment systems and industrial projects
• Produce detailed designs including control panels, cable sizing and routing, IO lists and SLDs
• Support project delivery teams from pre-construction through to commissioning
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure programme and budget targets are met
• Act as the main point of contact for all electrical technical queries
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across data centre, pharma and industrial sectors
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
• Prepare high-quality technical documentation and reports
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the team
About You
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical design within industrial, pharma or data centre environments
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and project delivery
• Experience with water treatment technologies such as membranes, filtration or chemical dosing is advantageous
• Proficient in CAD software, with Revit and Eplan experience beneficial
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate teams
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
