The Role: Quantity Surveyor
This Quantity Surveyor role is based in South Tipperary on a pharmaceutical construction project, working closely with the commercial and project delivery teams to ensure strong financial control across the build.
You will be involved in subcontractor procurement, cost reporting, valuations, variations and commercial management throughout the project lifecycle. The role will suit a Quantity Surveyor with experience working for a main contractor or specialist contractor on large scale construction projects in Ireland.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector
- Experience with a main contractor or specialist contractor in Ireland is required
- Proven experience required managing subcontractor accounts and project costs
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness required
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline required
Preferred Experience::
- Pharmaceutical or industrial project experience preferred
- Experience with cost reporting and procurement systems beneficial
- Strong client and subcontractor communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project costs and maintain accurate commercial reporting
- Prepare valuations, variations, interim payments and final accounts
- Assist with subcontractor procurement and appointment
- Monitor project budgets and identify commercial risks
- Liaise with site management and project teams regarding progress and cost control
- Support monthly cost reporting and forecasting
- Ensure strong commercial management throughout programme delivery
- Maintain accurate records and contractual documentation
About You:
- You have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects in Ireland
- You are commercially aware with strong attention to detail
- You can manage subcontractor relationships professionally
- You work well within project and commercial teams
- You are organised and capable of managing multiple commercial priorities
- You understand the importance of programme delivery, cost control and quality standards on pharmaceutical projects
