The Role – Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple high-value projects, supporting procurement, valuations, cost control, forecasting, and contract administration.

Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking a talented Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Role – Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple high-value projects, supporting procurement, valuations, cost control, forecasting, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Procure subcontractors and suppliers; issue and manage subcontract documents
- Manage subcontractor accounts and negotiate final accounts
- Administer subcontract provisions, notifications, and contractual compliance
- Prepare monthly valuations for submission to the client
- Assist in monthly Value Cost Reconciliation (VCR) and forecasting reports
- Support preparation of monthly Payment Claims
- Produce internal and external project cashflows
- Manage change control, including identification, pricing, and negotiation of variations
- Work closely with site teams, design teams, and commercial management
- Ensure all commercial records and contract documentation are maintained accurately
About You
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar
- Excellent contractual and commercial awareness
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience working on medium and large-scale projects in commercial, pharma, industrial, healthcare, or education sectors
- Familiarity with RIAI, GCC, or bespoke contract forms
- IT literate with experience using Cubit, CostX, COINS, or similar software (desirable)
- Valid Safepass & Manual Handling certification (desirable)
