Our client is a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across Leinster.
Built on repeat business and long-term client relationships, they have earned a strong reputation for reliable delivery, technical competence, and a collaborative approach on site. With a healthy pipeline of civils and groundworks projects now underway in Wicklow and the surrounding counties, they are expanding their commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable contractor where Quantity Surveyors are supported, developed, and given real exposure to live projects.
The Role – Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of multiple civils and groundworks projects, working closely with the Senior QS, Project Managers, and site teams.
You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience in cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, and reporting.

The Role – Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of multiple civils and groundworks projects, working closely with the Senior QS, Project Managers, and site teams.
You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience in cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost management on civil engineering and groundworks packages
- Prepare interim valuations, cost reports, and cashflow forecasts
- Measure works on site and from drawings
- Support subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, and appointments
- Assist in managing subcontractor accounts, variations, and final accounts
- Maintain accurate commercial records and registers
- Identify risks and opportunities and support value engineering exercises
- Liaise with site teams to ensure commercial alignment with programme delivery
About You
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Background in civils, groundworks, infrastructure, or residential enabling works
- Strong commercial awareness with good numerical and reporting skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with site teams and subcontractors
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar
- Full clean driving licence
