The Role – Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial and financial management of a major infrastructure project. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and overall project profitability.
You will be involved from early-stage cost management through to final account, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate reporting and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 (DOE)

The Role – Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor accounts from procurement through to final account
- Prepare and submit interim valuations and applications for payment
- Monitor project costs and carry out cost value reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly internal and client cost reports
- Support the management of variations, claims, and change control processes
- Measure quantities in line with standard methods of measurement
- Maintain accurate records for labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and commercial procedures
- Liaise with project teams to support programme and cost control
- Attend site and commercial meetings as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Assist in final account preparation and project close-out
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Experience supporting large-scale public works or utilities projects
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
- Knowledge of Public Works Contracts in Ireland or the UK is advantageous
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Full driving licence and eligible to work in Ireland
Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 (DOE)
