The Company This specialist engineering contractor delivers complex water treatment and process engineering systems across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US, with a strong presence in the data centre, pharmaceutical, power and industrial sectors.
Based in Co Kildare, the business is experiencing significant international growth, driven by its turnkey delivery model and use of off site construction methods. Projects typically involve design, fabrication, installation, commissioning and handover within technically demanding environments.
The Role: Project Planner Based in Ireland and working from Co Kildare, this Project Planner will join an established Project Controls team supporting major projects across Ireland and international markets.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Primavera P6 programmes from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover. Working closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, construction teams and subcontractors, you will monitor progress, identify programme risks and ensure key contractual milestones remain on track.
This is a strong role for a Project Planner with construction experience who wants exposure to large scale data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial and critical infrastructure projects.
Must Have Requirements
You should be comfortable analysing programme information, challenging progress where required and communicating clearly with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients. Experience within data centres, pharmaceutical, M&E or industrial construction would be particularly relevant.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have previous project planning or scheduling experience within the construction or engineering sector
- Hands on Primavera P6 experience is required
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programme logic and critical path analysis is required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Must be open to travel where required to support project delivery
- Data centre, pharmaceutical, M&E, industrial or critical infrastructure project experience preferred
- Experience developing programmes from design through construction, commissioning and handover beneficial
- Experience coordinating subcontractor and supplier programmes advantageous
- Client facing planning and reporting experience preferred
- Develop, maintain and update detailed Primavera P6 project programmes
- Build integrated schedules covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
- Monitor site progress against baseline programmes and contractual milestones
- Carry out critical path analysis and identify potential programme delays
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, programme updates and lookahead schedules
- Liaise with Project Managers, construction teams, design teams and procurement teams to maintain accurate programmes
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier programme information
- Identify programme risks and opportunities and recommend recovery measures where required
- Support programme revisions, change management and extension of time requirements where applicable
- Attend planning meetings with clients and project stakeholders
- Ensure programmes accurately reflect current site progress and project priorities
