The Role – Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for delivering a major hotel construction project in London from early construction through to completion. You will lead site operations, manage subcontractors and ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with senior management, consultants and the client team, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery including planning, coordination and reporting, ensuring a smooth build programme on this high profile hospitality development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day to day delivery of a large scale hotel construction project
• Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety procedures on site
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and suppliers to maintain programme targets
• Monitor construction quality and ensure works meet project specifications
• Lead project meetings with the client, design team and stakeholders
• Oversee project planning, sequencing and reporting
• Manage budgets, variations and cost control in collaboration with the commercial team
• Ensure the project is delivered on time and to the highest construction standards
About You:
• Proven experience working as a Project Manager with a main contractor
• Strong background delivering hotel, hospitality or large commercial construction projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
• Strong understanding of construction programme management and delivery
• Detail focused with a strong commitment to quality and safety
• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is desirable
