Job title: Project Manager – Major Civil Infrastructure Project
Location: Wexford, Co Wexford

Package: €90,000 to €95,000 + vehicle, fuel card, pension, healthcare and package
The Company
This Irish Tier 1 main contractor has a strong track record delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Ireland, including roads, bridges, rail, marine works and complex public infrastructure.
They are currently delivering a significant infrastructure project in Wexford involving new and upgraded road infrastructure, structures, underpasses, earthworks, drainage and associated rail and marine works.
The Role: Project Manager
This is a senior Project Manager position taking responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of a major civil engineering project in Wexford.
You will lead the project team, coordinate engineering and construction activities and work closely with the client, commercial team, design team and specialist subcontractors. The role carries responsibility for programme delivery, quality, HSQE, commercial performance and the day-to-day management of a large site team.

About You
You are an experienced Civils Project Manager or Senior Agent with a strong main contractor background and a track record delivering complex infrastructure projects.
You will be comfortable managing large site teams, specialist subcontractors and technically challenging civil works while keeping a close eye on programme, commercial performance, safety and quality.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to deal professionally with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Agent with a main civil engineering contractor
- Strong experience delivering major civil engineering or infrastructure projects is required
- Must have a strong working knowledge of roads, structures, earthworks and drainage
- Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing large construction teams and subcontractors
Preferred Experience
- Bridge construction experience strongly preferred
- Rail infrastructure experience beneficial
- Experience with marine works, underpasses or complex structures advantageous
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering contracts and programme management
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall delivery of the civil engineering project from construction through to completion
- Manage site teams, engineers, supervisors and specialist subcontractors
- Drive programme delivery across roads, structures, earthworks, drainage and associated infrastructure
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with project HSQE requirements
- Monitor construction programmes, resources and key project milestones
- Work closely with the commercial team to maintain cost control and financial reporting
- Coordinate method statements, risk assessments and activity planning
- Maintain strong working relationships with the client, design team and key stakeholders
- Drive quality standards and right first time delivery across the project
- Mentor and develop members of the project and engineering teams
