Overview:

An excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join one of Ireland's most respected civil engineering contractors, delivering critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Cork.

This is a role that offers far more than day-to-day site engineering, you'll take ownership of key project elements, work closely with experienced Project Managers and Contracts Managers, and play an active role in delivering complex infrastructure projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day engineering delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Cork.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to manage costs, programme milestones and client expectations.

  • Prepare short-term programmes, monitor project progress and assist with resource planning.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.

  • 3 years of experience working civil engineering or water infrastructure projects in Ireland.

  • Excellent communication, planning and problem solving skills.

  • Flexibility to travel between sites if required.
