MEP Project Director | Building Services / Manufacturing Facility
Location: Bristol, UK
Employer: Tier one mechanical and electrical contractor delivering high value, technically complex projects across the UK and Europe
Salary: £100,000 to £120,000 DOE plus bonus, car allowance, pension and executive benefits

The Role | MEP Project Director As MEP Project Director, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of a major £20m MEP package on a new build office and state of the art manufacturing facility in Bristol.
You will lead the project from early planning through to completion, overseeing programme, commercial performance, technical delivery and team leadership. This is a senior leadership role where you will manage multiple Project Managers, engineers and delivery teams while acting as the key interface with the client and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities • Lead the full lifecycle delivery of a high value MEP project from pre construction through to commissioning and handover
• Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, Engineers and site teams to ensure high performance delivery
• Oversee all aspects of mechanical, electrical and public health installations across the project
• Ensure compliance with all technical standards, UK regulations and quality requirements
• Drive programme delivery, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved
• Lead commercial performance including cost control, forecasting, risk management and reporting
• Manage procurement strategies and oversee subcontractor performance
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants and senior stakeholders
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Report on project progress, risks and performance to senior leadership teams
• Support commissioning, snagging and final handover to client
• Ensure all project documentation, reporting and processes are maintained to a high standard
About You • Proven experience as an MEP Project Director or Senior Project Manager delivering projects in excess of £20m
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical building services across manufacturing, pharma, data centre or industrial projects
• Excellent leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams across large scale projects
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts and project risk
• In depth knowledge of UK building regulations, MEP systems and construction delivery
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
• Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation is desirable
• Experience delivering manufacturing or high tech facilities is a strong advantage
• Able to manage complex, fast paced projects and multiple priorities
• Willingness to undergo full background checks and security clearance due to project requirements
