The Role: MEP Lead
As MEP Lead, you will take full responsibility for the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health delivery on a major hyperscale data centre project in Sweden.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead the MEP team through every stage of the project, ensuring all mechanical and electrical packages are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with CSA teams, design consultants, commissioning managers and specialist subcontractors, you will coordinate all aspects of MEP delivery while driving programme performance and maintaining exceptional installation quality throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a senior leadership position suited to an experienced MEP professional who enjoys managing technically complex projects and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Must Have Requirements
About You
You are an experienced MEP Lead with a strong background delivering complex Mechanical and Electrical packages on large construction projects. You understand the demands of mission critical environments and have the leadership skills required to coordinate multiple engineering disciplines while maintaining programme, quality and safety.
You are an excellent communicator, confident leading multidisciplinary teams and capable of building strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors. You take ownership of project delivery and consistently drive high standards across every stage of construction.

The Role: MEP Lead
As MEP Lead, you will take full responsibility for the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health delivery on a major hyperscale data centre project in Sweden.

This is a senior leadership position suited to an experienced MEP professional who enjoys managing technically complex projects and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Must Have Requirements
- Must have 10 years' experience delivering Mechanical and Electrical construction projects.
- Proven experience leading MEP delivery on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or mission critical projects.
- Experience working for a main contractor or specialist M&E contractor is required.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and commissioning processes.
- Proven experience managing large multidisciplinary engineering teams and specialist subcontractors.
- Previous hyperscale data centre experience.
- Experience managing large MEP packages from pre-construction through commissioning.
- Strong understanding of BIM coordination and digital project delivery.
- Experience using Procore, ACC, BIM 360 or similar construction management software.
- Experience delivering projects across Europe.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
- SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification.
- Strong contractual and commercial awareness.
- Lead the complete Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health delivery across the project.
- Manage MEP engineers, package managers and specialist subcontractors.
- Coordinate MEP works with CSA, planning, commissioning and client teams.
- Drive programme delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Chair weekly MEP coordination meetings and manage technical interfaces.
- Review engineering drawings, RFIs, technical submissions and design changes.
- Monitor installation progress and implement recovery plans where required.
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, client standards and statutory requirements.
- Oversee QA/QC inspections and support commissioning activities through to handover.
- Work closely with commercial teams on procurement, variations and subcontractor performance.
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare progress reports for senior management and client stakeholders.
