This international main contractor specialises in the delivery of large-scale data centre and mission critical projects across Germany and mainland Europe. With a strong German operation and an experienced in-country construction team, they deliver technically complex projects from pre-construction through to commissioning.
The business continues to grow its data centre workload across Germany, with further projects across the Düsseldorf and Cologne region creating opportunities for experienced construction professionals. Known for a practical approach to programme delivery, safety and quality, they offer strong long-term prospects within a growing European project pipeline.
The Role: MEP Estimator
As an MEP Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical and electrical packages on major data centre developments.
Working from the Frankfurt Head Office, you will collaborate with Design Managers, Procurement Teams, Commercial Managers and Project Teams to review tender documentation, prepare quantity take-offs, assess subcontractor quotations and produce commercially competitive tender submissions.
This role is central to the successful delivery of future projects and offers excellent exposure to technically complex construction schemes.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced MEP Estimator with a strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
You enjoy working within a collaborative pre-construction environment where accuracy, attention to detail and commercial awareness contribute directly to winning major projects.
You are confident reviewing technical documentation, assessing commercial risk and producing competitive estimates for complex construction projects.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years' experience as an MEP Estimator
- Proven experience required pricing mechanical and electrical building services packages
- Experience working with a main contractor or specialist M&E contractor is required
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical services and public health systems
- Excellent commercial awareness and estimating experience
- Data centre experience preferred
- Pharmaceutical, semiconductor or mission critical project experience beneficial
- Experience using CostX, CCS Candy or similar estimating software
- Knowledge of European construction projects
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Building Services Engineering
- BIM experience
- Value engineering experience
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Prepare detailed mechanical and electrical estimates
- Complete quantity take-offs for MEP packages
- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Produce accurate tender submissions
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Support procurement and bid teams throughout tender stages
- Attend tender meetings and technical reviews
- Maintain estimating databases and cost information
- Ensure estimates accurately reflect project scope and programme
