MEP Detailer – BIM / Building Services Projects

€50,000 to €65,000 plus package
The Company This contractor is a well established building services and engineering specialist delivering technically complex projects across sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and commercial developments. The Role – MEP Detailer As an MEP Detailer, you will play a key role in the delivery of coordinated building services installations on large scale projects. Working within a live BIM environment, you will support project teams with the production and management of high quality 3D and 2D deliverables, ensuring models are clash free, buildable and aligned with programme requirements.
This is a hands on role with real exposure to site coordination, design development and digital construction processes, offering a clear route into Lead MEP Coordinator positions as projects and experience progress.
Key Responsibilities • Produce coordinated 3D models using Revit and fabrication software where required
• Develop 2D coordination and installation drawings to construction standards
• Maintain clash free models through regular clash detection against federated models
• Support the Lead MEP Coordinator with design coordination and model development
• Administer and manage model files, drawing registers and coordination documents
• Assist with clash resolution both digitally and on site
• Prepare verified record drawings and as built documentation
• Attend coordination meetings and liaise with engineers, site teams and management
• Support tender and preconstruction BIM requirements when required
• Carry out site surveys, verification and point cloud coordination where applicable
About You • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or a strong trade background with BIM qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years experience working as an MEP Detailer or BIM Coordinator
• Mechanical or Electrical services background
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM coordination workflows
• Experience producing coordinated models and installation drawings on live projects
• Organised, detail focused and comfortable working to tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with site and design teams
• Ambition to progress into a Lead MEP Coordinator or BIM leadership role
