Operating across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and South Africa, the business delivers large-scale projects within the pharmaceutical, data centre, power, and industrial sectors.
With a strong pipeline of work and continued investment in digital engineering, they are looking to appoint an experienced MEP Detailer to join their BIM team in Co Kildare.
The Role: MEP Detailer
Reporting to the Lead MEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing coordinated 3D models and 2D installation drawings that support the successful delivery of major construction projects.
Working within a collaborative BIM environment, you will assist with design coordination, clash detection, model development, and installation detailing while supporting Engineers, Project Managers, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
This role offers exposure to some of Ireland's most technically demanding pharmaceutical, data centre, and industrial projects, with a clear progression path towards a Lead MEP Coordinator position.
Must Have Requirements
Preferred Experience
You are an experienced MEP Detailer with a strong understanding of building services coordination and BIM workflows.
You enjoy solving coordination challenges before they reach site and take pride in producing accurate, well-organised models and installation drawings.
You are comfortable working within multidisciplinary project teams and are keen to continue developing your BIM career on some of Ireland's most technically challenging projects.

The Role: MEP Detailer

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a strong trade background supported by a BIM qualification.
- Proven experience required as an MEP Detailer, BIM Technician, or BIM Coordinator on building services projects.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working within an MEP BIM coordination environment.
- Strong experience using Revit MEP.
- Mechanical or Electrical building services experience is essential
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Fabrication CAD MEP.
- Knowledge of Navisworks and federated model coordination.
- Experience working on pharmaceutical, data centre, industrial, healthcare, or commercial construction projects.
- Experience producing installation drawings and coordinated construction models.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Vault or BIM 360.
- Experience carrying out site surveys and model verification.
- Knowledge of point cloud scanning and total station surveying.
- Experience producing record drawings and as-built documentation.
- Exposure to off-site fabrication and modular construction.
- Produce detailed 3D models for mechanical and electrical building services installations.
- Prepare accurate 2D coordination and installation drawings.
- Develop and maintain Revit MEP models throughout project delivery.
- Carry out clash detection and assist with resolving coordination issues.
- Support the Lead MEP Coordinator with BIM deliverables across live projects.
- Build and maintain federated BIM models.
- Maintain drawing registers and BIM documentation.
- Attend coordination meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Support site teams with model coordination and installation queries.
- Carry out site verification and update models where required.
- Produce verified record drawings and as-built information.
- Assist with tender drawings and BIM deliverables for future projects.
- Work closely with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure coordinated project delivery
