We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background to play a key role on high-value construction and engineering projects based out of Co. Kildare.
This is a technically-driven role involving design review, mechanical calculations, and project support across industrial, pharmaceutical, and advanced manufacturing projects.
The role offers the opportunity to work on major projects for high-profile clients, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and pre-construction teams to ensure mechanical systems are designed, specified, and delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.

Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Strong mechanical engineering background with experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, or commercial projects.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, calculations, and technical project support.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, pipework, pumps, HVAC, and utilities.
- Experience interpreting drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.
- Proficiency with engineering software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Suitable for candidates with a mechanical engineering degree and 3–5 years of practical experience.
- Assist with mechanical design, calculations, and technical solutions for projects.
- Review specifications, drawings, and project requirements to ensure feasibility and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and pre-construction teams to support project delivery.
- Identify mechanical design risks, propose solutions, and assist with value engineering.
- Support documentation, method statements, and handover records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
