We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the mechanical delivery team on a major data centre project in Finland.
You will play a key role in overseeing technical project delivery, managing design inputs, coordinating mechanical services and ensuring the seamless integration of plant, equipment and specialist installations.

Mechanical Engineer Skills:

Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Experience in a mechanical engineering role within an M&E contracting environment
- Strong design management experience, including review of tender documentation and technical submittals
- Strong understanding of HVAC, process pipework and mechanical services coordination
- Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Mechanical engineering or related degree
- Oversee all technical aspects of mechanical project delivery on a large-scale European data centre project
- Review tender documentation, assist in plant/equipment selection and manage submittals
- Coordinate all mechanical services with contractors to ensure full integration and clash-free installation
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments for relevant construction activities
- Deliver all HVAC-related project outputs to required safety, quality and specification standards
- Work closely with the wider project team to plan and sequence pipework and mechanical installations
- Manage project inputs commercially from handover, through procurement of plant, equipment, subcontractors and suppliers
- Support the mechanical installation teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and programme adherence
- Assist with documentation of scope changes, monthly valuations and final account preparation
- Maintain strong communication with clients, design teams and on-site personnel
