We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a growing team in Cork. Mechanical Engineer Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working on mechanical projects within the construction, pharmaceutical, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC, process, and building services systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design and coordination tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges.
  • Knowledge of current mechanical standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required

As a Mechanical Engineer:
  • Oversee and coordinate mechanical systems installation including HVAC, plumbing, heating, and process piping.
  • Collaborate with design teams to review drawings, resolve technical issues, and ensure constructability on-site.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Support site teams in the planning and execution of works, ensuring compliance with company and client specifications.
  • Carry out regular inspections and provide progress reports to project managers.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and QA/QC records.
  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure best practices in safety, efficiency, and sustainability are implemented across all mechanical systems.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €60,000 plus package to and more.
