Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working on mechanical projects within the construction, pharmaceutical, or industrial sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC, process, and building services systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design and coordination tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges.
- Knowledge of current mechanical standards, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
As a Mechanical Engineer:
- Oversee and coordinate mechanical systems installation including HVAC, plumbing, heating, and process piping.
- Collaborate with design teams to review drawings, resolve technical issues, and ensure constructability on-site.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Support site teams in the planning and execution of works, ensuring compliance with company and client specifications.
- Carry out regular inspections and provide progress reports to project managers.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and QA/QC records.
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure best practices in safety, efficiency, and sustainability are implemented across all mechanical systems.
