The Role: M&E Quantity Surveyor
As M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the commercial delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the West and South West of Ireland.
Working with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and the wider commercial team, you will take M&E packages from procurement through valuations, variations and cost reporting to final account.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical packages and the commercial management of subcontractors.
You will be comfortable working alongside engineering and site teams, managing variations and costs, and maintaining accurate commercial reporting across technically demanding infrastructure projects.

As M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the commercial delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the West and South West of Ireland.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years’ experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor or Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor
- Proven experience required managing mechanical and electrical packages on construction or civil engineering projects
- Main contractor or specialist M&E contractor experience is required
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong commercial, contractual and subcontractor management experience
- Water, wastewater, utilities or industrial project experience preferred
- NEC contract experience beneficial
- Strong procurement, variations and final account experience
- Good Excel and commercial reporting skills
- Manage the commercial delivery of M&E work packages from procurement to final account
- Prepare valuations, variations, cost reports and forecasts
- Procure and commercially manage M&E subcontractors
- Monitor costs, programme progress and commercial risk
- Review contract documentation and maintain contractual compliance
- Work closely with site and project teams on package performance
- Attend commercial meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Support the Commercial Manager with project financial targets
